Our Lucky Pup Cancellation & Holiday Policies

We always strive to find the best balance of policies for you – our clients – for our Team Members, and our admin team. We are so grateful for your trust in us and our commitment to your pet(s)! You’ll find our current cancellation policy below.

I understand that by approving my requesting services, Lucky Pup Adventures sets a Team Member’s time aside specifically for my pet(s), and that other clients may be turned down due to my request. I understand that Lucky Pup Adventures expects my requested services to be honored, and that I will be respectful in any cancellations with the knowledge that a Team Member who reserved their time for my pet will be affected.

I understand that services provided by Lucky Pup Adventures are offered on an at-will basis, and may be canceled at the discretion of either party. I agree that two-to-four weeks notice is appreciated and expected for canceled services to give Lucky Pup Adventures ample time to offer my reservation to another client.

I understand that the following holidays incur a holiday rate of an additional 50%:  New Years Eve/Day, President’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day. I understand that services are in higher demand around the holidays.

I also understand Lucky Pup Adventures may require a non-refundable deposit to reserve services due to holidays, higher demand, repeated cancellations, or at the discretion of Lucky Pup Adventures, due at the time of scheduling.

Dog Walking: I understand that services canceled within 24 hours of the start of a service incurs the full value of that service, including visits canceled because I am coming home early, inclement weather, or personal sickness or injury. If I am worried about maintaining a reservation, I will be courteous and cautious, and will either cancel in advance or incur the value of the reservation.

Pet Sitting: I understand that pet care services canceled within 24 hours of the start of services incurs the full value of that entire series of service, including visits canceled because I am coming home early, inclement weather, or personal sickness or injury. If I am worried about maintaining a reservation, I will be courteous and cautious, and will either cancel in advance or incur the value of the reservation.
